On March 20, 2023, a sports demonstration was held in the town of Yakoruda as part of the project “Come and Play 4.0” (EAC-2020-0745) co-funded by the EU and organized by the Sports Club “Comac Sport.” The sports club is part of the Educational Complex “Tsar Simeon Veliki”, which includes the Private Kindergarten “Rositsa”, the Private Primary School “Tsar Simeon Veliki”, the Private High School of Science and Entrepreneurship “Assen Yordanov”, and the Training Centre “Tsar Simeon Veliki”.

The sports demonstrations by the Sports Club got off to an inspiring start in the town of Yakoruda, encouraging people of all ages to engage in regular physical activity. Led by experienced coaches, the demonstration offered a variety of activities, including warm-up exercises, a youth sports program, a sports program for families with children, and a program for people aged 60 and above.

By implementing this initiative as part of the project “Come and Play 4.0”, the sports club is not only promoting a healthy lifestyle, but also fostering a sense of community spirit among residents.

The new sports program developed within the project and adopted by the residents of the town has been a success. The new sports program, developed by the local community, has been accepted as an inspiring example of healthy living among the people of Yakoruda. These types of initiatives allow individuals of various ages and backgrounds to unite and remain physically and mentally active, thereby enhancing their overall health. The innovative 3D holograms in the new sports program demonstrate the benefits of digitalization and how it can make physical activity more accessible to everyone.
